Friend zones” are overrated. I should get out of the way.

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond
measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves,
who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented, and fabulous? Actually,
who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve
the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t
feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within
us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated
from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others -

Why did Jesus have a beard? So that he could get into clubs&bars and preach the gospel underage…

The power of God’s crucifixion is so far greater than the power of the flesh, we just need to learn how to tap into it through God’s power, but remember all the glory Goes to the father…

1 Corinthians 13:3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
What might God want us to do? I was talking with some friends about doing something worthwhile yesterday and I have one question to think about, how are you allowing the gospel to be heard and seen to the world?

ESA was indeed amazing. God can do so much in you when you are willing and accepting to fulfilling his desires. I learnt so much on camp, But I struggle to remember everything, and I just pray in faith that I can soldier on in the future. I really dont wanna lose the God-given passion I have been blessed with, that makes my faith so encouraged.
Although I’m so happy to be home, I’m really missing people. The people who I met were just amazing people, they have encouraged me so much, because of what God is doing in their lives.
I really like this verse:
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do
what pleases him.
Philippians 2:13 -
okay, so is it wrong to totally want to change my life, turn it upside down and make my life different, make the way it runs totally different and get rid of the old baggage?
I feel I have made too many mistakes lately and I keep losing focus of quite possibly everything. Today I go on ESA for 5 days, I’m pretty sure this will change my life. But I do hope I will get to grow in a solid foundation of more discerning wisdom, that will allow me to be a totally different person in the way I think about things.
Thinking back 6 months ago when I went on summer ESA, I was scared and nervous of doing something different, but now I know that I can rely on God in such situations, but I also think back to how much I have changed in the past 6 months. Holy shit batman! I feel like a totally different person, but in a good way, in a way of maturity, wisdom and discernment. But there is still room for more of this change, and then I can change the physical external factors around me which I think are the cause for the reoccurring confusion and the annoyed-at-life attitude that I have started to become aware of.

Prioritize
Why is there such a complex to christianity? Why have we taken it and made it so difficult? Dont get me wrong doing hard things is good, but my Dad always says “work smart, instead of hard.” I think this could be applied quite well to our christian journey.
So we need to simplify the equation and start working smart as followers of Christ. We must continue to have a transformed mindset so that we may establish our own values and have a discernment over right and wrong.
Yes we are being like people from the bible, that must be good yeah? Or are we becoming like the lost people who are in the bible that are made righteous by God, because they have forgotten, or have never known how they could have a discernment in regards to their priorities. We must just remember to think of the many stories that show Gods amazing glory and through his grace they are pushed and pulled by God back onto the path towards the kingdom of heaven.

I cant understand how the universe can be the way it is.
Lately I keep coming back to this example of Matrix, and how there are strong parallels between christianity and the movie’ plot. I keep thinking about what is our life? and people quickly answer to serve God. But are their actions reflecting such statements. Call me a hypocrite as much as you want because I’m in no way perfect, however why do we have to make our lives so complex. So big, bulky, with big annoying bits of baggage that drags us down. I just want to simplify the whole equation. God knows where I’ll start…
I have noticed i have such a shallow perspective on ‘my world’ pretending I understand everything that is around me, and then I see this video, which opens your eyes so wide its not funny. But where does that leave you and I?

What is your life? Here today gone tomorrow. How come we cant stop and smell the roses to what is around us, why cant we appreciate the things that God has blessed us with this short time here on earth and why do we have to keep persisting for things that are in this world? I specifically say ‘in’ this world.
But why is it so important ti have the latest whatever?? Some could argue how much of this is sinful nature, but can we just blame our sinful nature and make progress with our lives?
Sometimes i get this feeling that we are really in this world as a matrix type human being sort of teleported here and the whole world is an illusion, excuse my lack if in-depth matrix knowledge. We get so corrupted by satan where we want the things that are really not necessary which in turn makes us worry about unGodly things that cause us to get into distress…

I’ve been prinking a little bit lately. For those that don’t know, it’s a mix of praying and thinking. I’ve been prinking about how satan attacks you. Some appear to never be attacked by satan and others seem to be totally consumed by satanic attacks.
I found this which is said by an American by the name of Lou Holtz “Life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it” wiki tells me that Lou is a retired football coach and motivational speaker. I can just imagine giving this speech to a team of NFL players, who were down at half time and then went and kicked butt second half.
If we look in the bible for examples of responding to what we have been faced in life, we find Job, who is tested by satan in an early part of mankind where mortals struggled to understand the world and to know God, but the whole time God expects him to just sit there as a good and faithful servant of God. The bible tells us this in chapter 1:11 ‘take away everything he has and surely he will curse you to your face!’ said satan.
Despite Job’s circumstance of little knowledge, we have a distinct advantage over Job having both the old and new testament to inspire our lives, to which we have learnt to understand God more and discern the history of mankind alongside God’s purpose.
Job was blameless. And that this was causing his suffering. Too often we think our human suffering is because of some reason, something we have done or some other hidden force but for Job, God let satan attack him.
edit: i tried really hard to make sense, but it doesn’t work for me.
